October 3 - 5, Internazionale Festival, Ferrara, Italy
The Internazionale is Italy's leading journal of international current affairs.
This is the second year of its Festival, featuring prominent authors and journalists from all over the world. Last year's inaugural event was a huge success, pulling in over 17,000 people, and featuring luminaries like Arundhati Roy and Marjane Satrapi. This year's heavyweight speakers include Noam Chomsky.
I will perform a 30-minute selection of poems, on October 4th, 11.30AM, then speak on a panel about international media representations of Africa.
